The pit cover for a 4-poster-test rig is designed to access the test rig on street level. It consists of a cover for the car track and a controllable cover for the middle aisle.

The bulb plate for covering the track is equipped with an integrated track and wheel adjustment. This allows the pit cover to be adapted to the respective selected track widths and wheelbases of the test rig. Covering of the middle aisle is by way of an electrically operated walk-on aluminium cover apron.
